Da Lat events in November: festivals, concerts and races

Da Lat events in November 2026 cluster on two weekends. If you are traveling with someone registered for the Lam Dong Trail, aim for November 6-8. The free concert at Lam Vien Square is planned for November 14; confirm the start time before arranging your day. As of October 16, most dates are still provisional.

November 6-8: jazz, the Lam Dong Trail and the Bocelli night

The Vietnam Jazz Heritage Festival is planned over three nights (venues in the table above), with November 8 for invited guests only. It is the Flower Festival’s jazz event, once scheduled for around December 25-27 and since moved to November. Picking a night, the lineup and getting there are covered in our Da Lat jazz festival guide.

The Lam Dong Trail starts and finishes at the Valley of Love, Thung Lũng Tình Yêu (lamdongtrail.vn, checked October 16, 2026). If your group includes an 85 km runner, check the early-morning race schedule before planning a late jazz outing. See the Lam Dong Trail guide for bag-drop and start times, and for where to stay.

On November 7, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is billed to perform at HAUS Da Lat (1 Dinh Tien Hoang Street). Reports published on October 16 describe it as an event for invited guests. If you see tickets offered for sale, verify them through an official announcement from the organizers before sending money. It is a separate evening from the jazz closing night on November 8, though the venue is the same.

What is on at the Lang Biang International Music Festival, November 13-15?

The festival is planned for three days in central Da Lat (Bao Lam Dong, October 16, 2026, in Vietnamese); the day-by-day program is in the table above. The November 14 concert at Lam Vien Square will feature Vietnamese and international artists and bands and be broadcast live by Lam Dong’s provincial newspaper, radio and television. Beyond the Lam Vien Square program, the plan includes gong performances and activities visitors can join at Lam Dong Museum. Times and entry terms need confirming before you go.

The festival is part of the province’s program for Vietnam Culture Day on November 24 (VietnamPlus, October 2, 2026, in Vietnamese). The October 16 report gives no show times, artist names or entry terms beyond the free concert on November 14.

Going to the November 14 concert

  • Lam Vien Square is on Tran Quoc Toan Street, across the road from Xuan Huong Lake. Walk if you are staying nearby; otherwise take a taxi part of the way. Close to the date, check the start time and Xuan Huong ward’s traffic notices.
  • A free outdoor concert does not mean there are seats. With children or older relatives, agree on a meeting point. If you cannot make it, the plan includes a live broadcast on Lam Dong television.

November shows at Mây Lang Thang

On October 16, 2026, Mây Lang Thang (an outdoor stage in Mang Lin, Lang Biang ward, known for shows with Vietnamese pop and ballad singers) had tickets on sale for seven November shows in Da Lat, listed in the table at the top. The site shows “10:00” for every show, so confirm when doors open and when the show starts and ends when you book. The Hanoi stage also has shows on November 6 and 28; Da Lat shows carry “ĐÀ LẠT” in the title. Buy on the official booking site. Prices, refund rules, the shuttle and the Lululola alternative are in our Da Lat live music guide.

When is the pink grass festival and horse race in Lang Biang?

Lang Biang ward plans a pink grass festival, a bareback horse race of the K’Ho (Cơ Ho) people, a food and rice wine contest and a local products fair in November 2026 (Bao Lam Dong, October 11 and 12, 2026, in Vietnamese). Neither report gives dates or venues, so confirm them before you fix your plans.

In 2024, the plan for a pink grass day and bareback horse race in the former Lac Duong district was reported on November 16, with activities from November 22 to December 27 (Bao Van Hoa, in Vietnamese). If this festival is the reason for your trip, hold a refundable room and wait for the ward to announce dates.

What is in bloom in November?

Wild sunflowers (dã quỳ) are usually at their best from late October to late November, shifting by a few weeks between years (see Da Lat wild sunflowers). Pink grass starts in early November and looks its best around the end of the month (VnExpress, November 26, 2023, in Vietnamese; viewing spots in our Da Lat flower season calendar). Some persimmon orchards still have fruit in November (see Da Lat dried persimmons). Check recent reports from the viewing spot before pairing pink grass with a concert date.

Da Lat is preparing for the Flower Festival: what will you see in November?

The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival is set to open on the evening of December 19 and close on December 31, 2026, at Lam Vien Square (Viet Nam News, October 14, 2026). Local wards are preparing flower displays for the December festival; don’t treat them as finished sightseeing routes in November. The detailed schedule is in our Da Lat Flower Festival guide.

Rooms and roads on event weekends

  • Book early for November 6-8, 13-15 and the nights around the November 24 holiday. Choose clear cancellation terms, since several programs are provisional and November can still bring storms: in 2025 the Lam Dong Trail was postponed on November 6 over concerns about Typhoon Kalmaegi (Tuoi Tre, in Vietnamese).
  • Where to stay: for concerts at Lam Vien Square and Hoa Binh Theater, stay within walking distance of Xuan Huong Lake and Da Lat Market (see cheap hotels in Da Lat city center).

On the roads: on October 9, 2026, the province approved emergency work on a landslide-hit slope on Prenn Pass, expected to take four months (VnExpress); on October 13, 2026, nearly half the road surface on Dai Ninh Pass (National Highway 28B) had subsided, with a temporary two-way bypass (Tuoi Tre). Check pass conditions close to your trip and drive them in daylight. Buses are covered in Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat, flights in flights to Da Lat, and rides back after a late show in Da Lat taxis and Grab.

How cold are November evenings, and what should you wear?

Da Lat’s long-term average low for November is about 14.6°C (58°F), with around 11.5 days of rain in the month (Wikipedia, from the Da Lat gazetteer). That is climate data, not a forecast for the night you go. Standing still outdoors for two hours feels colder than walking around, so wear a sweater under a windproof jacket, bring a light poncho rather than an umbrella, and wear closed shoes with grip. Week-by-week weather is in our Da Lat weather in November guide and layering tips are in what to wear in Da Lat. For everything else, start from our Da Lat travel overview.

If you see show times, artists or the pink grass festival dates announced, let us know and we will update this page.

FAQ

Is there a free concert in Da Lat in November?

Yes, according to the plan: on Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Lang Biang International Music concert on Lam Vien Square is listed as free for the public and will be broadcast live (Bao Lam Dong, October 16, 2026). The start time and artists still need confirmation.

Can I buy tickets to see Andrea Bocelli in Da Lat?

Reports published on October 16, 2026 describe the November 7 performance at HAUS Da Lat as an event for invited guests. If you see tickets offered for sale, verify them through an official announcement from the organizers before sending money.

When and where is the Lang Biang International Music Festival?

It is planned for November 13-15, 2026 in central Da Lat, at Dalat Opera House, Lam Vien Square (a free concert on November 14), the Hung Kings Temple in Cam Ly ward and Lam Dong Museum. Show times and artists still need confirmation.

When is the Lang Biang pink grass festival this year?

To be confirmed. Bao Lam Dong (October 11 and 12, 2026) only says Lang Biang ward plans the pink grass festival, a bareback horse race and a food and rice wine contest in November 2026, without dates or venues.

Do I need to book early for November 6-8?

Book as soon as your dates are fixed: that weekend has the jazz festival, the Lam Dong Trail and two Mây Lang Thang shows. Choose clear cancellation terms, since the jazz dates are provisional and the 2025 trail race was postponed because of a typhoon.

What should I wear to an outdoor concert in November?

Da Lat’s long-term average low for November is about 14.6°C (58°F), which is not a forecast. Wear a sweater or thermal layer under a windproof jacket and bring a light poncho instead of an umbrella.
